Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR)

Sum of all subscription revenue normalized to a monthly run rate.

Also known as: MRR

Definition

MRR is the monthly version of ARR - useful for companies with month-to-month or short-term contracts where a yearly view obscures churn velocity. ARR = MRR × 12. Many B2B SaaS report ARR; many B2C SaaS report MRR.
