Sync call recordings and metadata from Gong to Cust

What does this app do?

The Cust app syncs call recordings and metadata, into Cust as Interactions. This allows you to enrich your customer data in Cust with real-world conversations, automatically uncover insights from transcripts, and leverage these conversation based signals in your workflows.

Key features:

  • Sync call recordings: Automatically sync call recordings from Gong to Cust.
  • Metadata sync: Sync important call metadata, such as participants, duration, and more.

How to set it up?

  1. Navigate to the Integrations tab in your Cust account.
  2. Select Gong from the list of available integrations.
  3. Click "Connect to Gong" and follow the on-screen instructions to authorize the connection.
  4. Once connected, the data sync will begin automatically. The initial sync may take a few minutes, depending on the volume of data.

Note: You may need to have a Gong Technical Administrator profile to authorize the integration.

Once synced, your Gong data becomes a powerful asset within Cust.

Here’s how you can use it:

  • Enrich customer context: Access Gong call recordings, AI summaries, and metadata directly from customer's context in Cust. This gives you a complete, chronological history of every conversation alongside all other customer data.
  • Uncover conversational insights: Cust’s AI automatically analyzes call transcripts to extract key topics, competitor mentions, customer sentiment, and emerging risks, providing you with actionable signals.
  • Get smarter actions: Leverage these conversation-driven signals to power Cust's recommendation engine. This ensures your team is prompted with more relevant, timely, and effective next-best actions to drive customer success.

How to get it?

Authorized Cust users can connect the Gong integration via the Integrate tab in the Cust app.
